How are your organizational skills?  The City of Tyler has some good ones!

Tyler wins the Quality Texas Progress Level Award by the Quality Texas Foundation, for performance improvement and sound organizational management.City Manager Mark McDaniel told the Tyler Morning Telegraph that the city's goal is to "be the standard for performance excellence in local government.”

The city earned the Engagement Level award last year, and gets the Progress Level award this year, which is a step up.  Next up perhaps...the Texas Award for Performance Excellence.  Good luck!

The City of Tyler was one of five businesses in the state to get the Progress Level award this year, and it will be presented at a ceremony in Addison (a suburb of Dallas) in June.  Congratulations.
