Monsour Law Firm Giving Away $5,000 Scholarships

Attention East Texas seniors! Monsour Law Firm wants to help you kick off your financial path to higher education by giving away at least three $5000 scholarships.

The law firm says that this year, 8 finalists will be selected and each will receive $1,000. From this group of finalists, Monsour Law Firm will pick three winners who will get an additional $4,000 for a total payout for the three winning finalists of $5,000 each.

To be considered for the scholarship, here's what you have to do:

3) Fill out this entry form here by scrolling down the page.
4) Get your family and friends to post to the Monsour Law Firm Facebook page the reasons why you deserve to receive the scholarship. Everything is read!

*If you feel uncomfortable speaking about your own successes and achievements, the Monsour Law Firm will gladly read anything nice that anyone has to say about you.

All applicants will be evaluated based on a "whole person" approach. The law firm says that they understand there is more to an individual than GPA and ACT scores. Each student will be evaluated, not only on their academics, but also on their personal achievements. Share with them about your journey to college. If there is something special you have done or significant obstacle you have had to overcome let them know that as well.

This scholarship is open to all students who are currently a Senior in East Texas area schools. Finalists will be announced on April 13th, 2020, at 5:00 p.m.
