Mom Spanks Her 5-Year-Old With Bag of Glass for Playing Video Games

This is what parenting is not supposed to be like. Alecia Croney, 24, took her son to the emergency room with a huge cut on his leg that would need lots of attention.Alecia told the doctors she spanked her son with what she said he thought to be an empty bag of Doritos. You and I both know that was probably bull because who hits anybody with an empty bag to scold?

The bag she did hit him with had shards of glass from a busted jar thrown away earlier. The sheriff, you and I both probably think this is a hard one to digest. She is now in jail on a $50,000 bond for child abuse charges.

Her son required surgery when he arrived at the hospital.
