Man Reports Internet Date as ‘Intruder’ Because Girlfriend Was Home
Ah, the perils of internet dating cheating. Kevin Gaylor, 24, met a woman on Craigslist and set up a 3 a.m. rendezvous at his house. His plan for late night fun was thrown into disarray when his live-in girlfriend unexpectedly returned home.
So what did Gaylor do when his web date knocked on the door? He called the cops and reported that an armed female intruder was outside of his house.
Gaylor may have saved himself a slap in the short term, but once the police picked up the “intruder” it didn’t take long for them to figure out something was amiss. Gaylor was taken into custody and cited for a misdemeanor for false reporting to the authorities.
