The forecast calls for a beautiful day!  Whether you want to spend some quality time at a great family event, or enjoy a fun-filled evening of music & dancing to help a worthy cause, Longview's got you covered on Saturday.

The Gregg County Historical Museum's annual "Dalton Days" is happening on Fredonia Street between 10am & 3pm, & it's free!  Live music, food, & plenty of games & activities for the kids to enjoy.  Their petting zoo is always one of the most popular attractions.  Be sure to check out the "Wild West Shows", featuring the Dalton Gang of course.  Those take place hourly throughout the day.

If spending a special night out together sounds more like what you're up for, there are still a few seats available for this year's "Blue Jeans & Ball Gowns" gala at Maude Cobb.  The event begins at 6pm, with dinner, dancing, & local celebrity guests struttin' their stuff, all to the music of a live band.  Proceeds benefit East Texas CASA to support the outstanding work they do year-round on behalf of children who need foster care.  Get your tickets now, 'cause they're almost sold out.
