This week be sure to catch the classic holiday movies  “It’s A Wonderful Life" and "The Polar Express" at Tyler's amazing Liberty Hall in downtown.  Movie lovers everywhere include these films as part of their holiday traditions! It doesn't matter how many times you've seen these movies, it never gets old. In "It's a Wonderful Life," George Bailey, who has spent his entire life giving of himself to the people of Bedford Falls, has always wanted to travel but never had the opportunity.

The antagonist in the movie is the bitter Mr. Potter, who wants to take over Bedford Falls and all that prevents him from doing so is George's small building and loan company, which was founded by his generous father.

Then on Christmas Eve, George's absent-minded Uncle Billy accidentally loses $8,000 of the bank’s money, giving Mr. Potter the opening he has been waiting for to ruin George Bailey.

In deep despair, George believes the only option is to take his life so that his family is spared. But sensing his hopelessness, the town comes together with prayers that result in a gentle angel named Clarence coming to earth to help George. The movie also stars the beautiful Donna Reed.

Then this Saturday, Dec. 21, at 3 p.m. catch the  2004 “The Polar Express” with Tom Hanks. Based on the best-selling book of the same name, this is the animated story of a young boy on Christmas Eve who boards a powerful magical train that's headed to the North Pole and Santa Claus's home. What unfolds is an adventure that takes this doubting boy to the North Pole.

Tickets are $7, the doors open one hour before the movie starts. Tickets are available online or at or at the door one hour prior to the show – unless sold out.
