Kyra Sedgwick Reveals She’s Distant Cousin to Kevin Bacon [VIDEO]

Let it be known that Kyra Sedgwick would dominate the game ‘Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon.’ And it’s not just because she’s married to Bacon. She’s also his distant relative, she said on the ‘Late Show’ Thursday night.

With help from Henry Louis Gates, Jr., Sedgwick traced her lineage back 200 years and discovered shared bloodlines with Richard Nixon, Jimmy Carter and Marilyn Monroe.

But Sedgewick also discovered she’s a tenth cousin once removed of her own husband. “It was a little upsetting,” she said. “I’m not going to lie.”
