The 2024 Total Solar Eclipse

The total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, is expected to be a significant astronomical event, visible across parts of North America. It will be the last total eclipse we'll see over North America until 2044. The path of totality, where the Sun will be completely covered by the Moon, is projected to cross regions of the United States, including parts of Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.

For those who are looking to get a super experience for this eclipse, Delta Airlines just added an new special flight from Austin to Detroit where you'll be able to spend as much time as possible directly within the path of totality. You can find out about that here.

However, for those who prefer to stay land based, and in the Lone Star state, AirBnB's across the state are letting you know that if you want the ultimate experience, you should rent one of them! Here are eight eclipse-ready AirBnB's in Texas.
