Moody Teenager Now Indicted For Temple, Texas Shooting
Temple, Texas Police Department detained two different vehicles after a report of shots fired in the 1700 block of South 31st Street on Saturday evening August 5th. A 27 year old man was found to have been suffering from non life threatening gunshot wounds and another man had been injured by shrapnel.
Both men were promptly transported to Baylor, Scott and White Hospital just on the other side of the street from the shooting.
The driver of a red SUV was interviewed, and then allowed to freely leave the area after the police's investigation determined they were not involved in the shooting. The driver of a black vehicle was then arrested and taken to the Bell County Jail.

Temple Police then followed a tip that the suspects in the shooting were near the Walmart on West Adams. That is when the 2 men were detained and Jesse James Loder, 19, of Moody was the man who was arrested for the shooting.
Fox 44 was the first to report on this shooting, and were able to keep track of the story as the police investigation went from the Huggy Bear Convenience Store restroom all the way to Walmart on West Adams. It was believed the whole time the shooting was an isolated incident, and the public was not in danger.
Thanks to swift investigation work by the Temple Police Department, a suspect was quickly arrested, and now they have been formally indicted.
