The state of Texas is no stranger to celebrities.

We've all heard of the man known as Matthew David McConaughey right? He is a huge Texas Longhorn fan after all. But celebrities have made their way to the Lone Star State, and when they do, it certainly is an event.

Most of the time though, we aren't around when somebody who is highly regarded in Hollywood visits. Unless the visit is during an event, the chance of running into a celebrity is very slim. But what happens when the famous individual appears without an indication they're coming?

That occurred most recently in the city of Austin, where a famous "Anchorman" made his appearance well known. During a Texas Longhorns game no less!

Celebrity Shows Up At Matt's El Rancho, Bringing Joy To Everyone

On Saturday, September 21st, 2024, nobody expected Will Ferrell to appear at a Central Texas eatery. Yet, that's what recently happened!

Per MySA, Ferrell was in the city of Austin helping spread the word about his new film Will and Harper. Him showing up certainly caught the staff off-guard, but they were happy to have him. According to Matt's El Rancho's manager, at the time of his appearance, Jenna Johnson:

"We weren't expecting to have such a wonderful night...He had a really nice group with him, and they were just so, so sweet. It was really cool."

So, it just goes to show that you can always expect something unexpected when you'te in the Lone Star State!
