Police In Diboll, Texas Bust Drug Dealer With Huge Selection
When you read about law enforcement agencies busting drug dealers, they usually are busted with one drug or another. The US 59 corridor has been responsible for large meth and marijuana busts in the past.
Diboll Police Officers made a traffic stop on Sunday in the 1400 block of North Temple Drive, aka US 59. During the stop the officers found the driver to be in possession of drugs.
Diboll Busts A Drug Dealer With A Very Wide Selection
That's the only way I can describe it, they had all the drugs. This person had an entire pharmacy of illegal substances:
- Marijuana
- Ecstasy
- Xanax
- Magic Mushrooms
- MDMA
- THC Vapes
Along with the six different types of drugs, they also found a loaded handgun and scales. Thanks to the Diboll officers who had to fill out separate paperwork for every kind of illegal substance that they found.
Cameras To Fight Crime Were Recently Installed In Diboll
This is just one example of all of the work they are doing in Diboll to make the community safer. Every city on US 59 South is benefiting from the work they are doing to keep these drugs off of the streets.

In 2022 Diboll installed high-speed computer-controlled cameras; some of the first in our area to combat crime. These automatic license plate readers (ALPR) are always running and taking note of every vehicle coming and going on US 59.

Though this system was not mentioned in this bust, the ALPR system has been used to identify suspect vehicles for all types of crimes. Its main use is for locating stolen or wanted vehicles.
