What is tubing?

If you've never been tubing, boy are you missing out. Whether you're being pulled by a boat at the lake or floating the river in one, it's a favorite pastime among Texans.

Tubing, also known as inner tubing, bumper tubing, towed tubing, or kite tubing, is a recreational activity where an individual rides on top of an inner tube, either on water, snow or through the air. The tubes themselves are also known as "donuts" or "biscuits" due to their shape. [Wikipedia]

Now, when you go tubing, you'll need to remember to get an extra tube to hold your cooler because you don't want it to end up at the bottom of the river. What you put in your cooler is up to you, but make sure you're up-to-date on the rules of the river - in case you're not supposed to have alcoholic beverages, glass, or even a cooler.
