This short film knocked it out of the park with a hilarious, and fictional, dramatization of how the Peter Criss sung KISS ballad 'Beth' came to be. The spoof starts when the drummer gets a call from his wife while the band is slaving away in the studio trying to wrap up a new song.

The phone conversation sees Beth on one end asking her husband when he'll be home for dinner while he responds with the lines from the song 'Beth.' After a lengthy phone conversation that leaves Beth upset and Criss deflated, he seizes the moment with a sudden burst of inspiration. He returns to the studio and sits by the piano, emotionally describing how he had just let his wife down.
