(KNUE-FM) While there are people struggling with inflation and life costing more in general, most Texans truly seem to be happy. There are always going to be some things that we wish were more comfortable for us, but that is just part of human nature, we want things to be easy.
But there is so much to do and see in Texas, there are lots of things that can bring happiness. But remember no one else can make you happy, that is a decision you have to make for yourself. I did want to look at the cities that seem to be the happiest within the Lone Star State.
The Positives and Negatives of Texas Living
There are so many positives to living in Texas, which is why I love living here. But there are some negatives too, such as crime and drug use, although those things happen everywhere.
When looking at what makes people happy, here is some of the data that helped come up with the list of happy cities. Things such as number of restaurants in the area, crime, commute time, household income, divorce rates, and a few other factors.

What Makes Texans Happy?
People can be happy, sad, or angry wherever they go. It’s a choice whether you want to be happy or not, sure there can be other factors that help you be happy, but ultimately that is a choice you can make. Days are much better when you choose to be happy and walk around with a smile on your face.
