Gwyneth Paltrow Named People Magazine’s 2013 ‘Most Beautiful Person’

The managing editor for People magazine, Larry Hackett, was on Good Morning America today (4/24) to announce the 2013 Most Beautiful Person. The name is one that will be hard to disagree with -- Gwyneth Paltrow!

Hackett said that Paltrow was chosen because she's easy to identify with as a wife and mother who balances her personal life and her career. He went on to say that she's family-oriented and grounded - overall a gorgeous example of what a beautiful woman is today.

Paltrow tells People that she'd "never been more surprised or flattered."

Other celebrities highlighted in the issue are Carrie Underwood, Adele, Halle Berry, Beyonce and more. The men are well represented too. High Jackman, Tim McGraw, Justin Timberlake, Channing tatum and more.

The "Most Beautiful" issue of People goes on sale this Friday (4/26).
