Texas was great 30 years ago, and it’s still fantastic now. Most of that is because of the people, southern hospitality is still alive and well in the Lone Star State. It doesn’t hurt that it’s beautiful here and lots of things to do across the state of Texas. But the older I get the more I appreciate the way things were when I was growing up. 

As I think back to my childhood days and smile about all the great memories it makes me think back to those times and who were the big names we talked about back then. It was about musicians and movie stars, back in the day we didn’t have any social media influencers.
