East Texas Team Gets Ready For the NCAA Tournament

There are several watch parties planned at restaurants in Nacogdoches on Friday as the Lumberjacks head to the NCAA Tournament.

Congrats, Jacks, on making it to the Big Dance!

We're picking you in our March Madness brackets for sure. The Jacks take on Virginia Commonwealth in San Diego on Friday at 6:30 p.m.

We're sure Fuzzy's Taco Shop will be watching in Nacogdoches.  That's the site of the watch party Sunday, when the Lumberjacks learned they received the invite to the NCAA tournament. If the Jacks win, there will likely be a big watch party on campus for the next round, at the SFA University Theater.

Texas Southern from the SWAC is in the Big Dance along with the Texas Longhorns, and Baylor Bears, and that's the extent of the Texas teams who made the NCAA tournament.
