[UPDATE 10:40 PM] KLTV is reporting that Larry Smith has won re-election for Smith County Sheriff with 71.24 percent of the vote.

[UPDATE 9:53 PM] KLTV is reporting that the Prec. 2 Prop in Upshur County for the legal sale of beer and wine has been voted 100 for and 59 against.

[UPDATE 8:46 PM] Travis Clardy is the projected winner of the District 11 State House seat, according to the Associated press.

[UPDATE 7:49 PM] The Associated Press reports that Early Voting numbers indicate Louie Gohmert will win re-election to his District 1 seat, defeating his opponent Shirley McKellar.

Additionally, Early Voting numbers also indicate that incumbent Larry Smith will defeat his challenger Gary Pinkerton in the race for Smith County Sheriff.
