Early voting is now underway for the Texas primary elections. Early voting for the March 1st elections is happening now through Friday, February 26th throughout the state. If you’re like me, you’re probably wondering where can go to cast a ballot early! Thanks to the Texas Secretary of State’s office website, you can locate an early polling location by utilizing the websites' ‘Am I Registered?’ feature or you may contact your local Voting Clerk’s office.

To cast your vote you should have your voter's registration card along with another approved form of identification. You should also be informed on the candidates on the ballot and cast your vote for who you believe is the best qualified for the office the candidate is running for. When you've finished voting, feel proud that you fulfilled your civic duty and be thankful that you have the right to cast a vote and have a say in your government, because in other nations around the world some people do not have the luxury of casting a vote and having their voice be heard.
