Rich Vos (from Opie & Anthony, Last Comic Standing, etc) was being heckled recently at a comedy club in New York.  Club owner and comedian Steve Hofstetter stepped in to toss the guy out.

Now, I am a huge fan of stand-up comedy, and I have even been to see several different comedians over the years. It never fails. At every show I go to, there is always someone who wants to make comments and who tries to interact with the comedian on stage.

I realize that some comedians welcome audience participation as part of their act, but most of the time, comments from audience do not help the show. You wouldn't talk to actors on stage during a play. If you ever end up at a comedy show, try and remember that, so you don't end up like the guy at this club.
