Downtown Live Is Coming Back To Downtown Longview, Texas April 7
The sound of live music will be filling the streets of downtown Longview, Texas each Friday this spring thanks to the return of 'Downtown Live'.
What started out as a free, small, lunchtime concert series more than a decade ago where you brought your own brown bag lunch and listened to some great music, has changed into a community-wide event where, now hundreds of people show up to Heritage Plaza downtown, along with some amazing Longview area food trucks and enjoy some great live music.
The first performance of 'Downtown Live' this year will be Friday, April 7th with local favorite Dagnabbit.
The free concert series will happen each Friday beginning at 5 p.m. from April 7th through May 26th. The only exception will be Friday, May 5th which is Cinco de Mayo. There will be a separate special event for this day at the Longview Arboretum and Nature Center.

The event is hosted by Downtown Longview Main Street. Main Street coordinator, Nick Mayfield says,
We love that the community is so supportive of this event. I think this will be one of our best line ups yet, we have locale favorites like Dagnabbit and Covie along with some new faces like Mason Dawson."
Go ahead and make plans now to bring your lawn chair to work with you each Friday, because you'll use it to park it out at Heritage Plaza in downtown Longview during 'Downtown Live' while enjoying some great food from local food trucks and listening to some fantastic local artists.
