DJs Behind ‘Royal Prank’ Issue Apology Following Nurse’s Death [VIDEO]
Australian radio personalities Mel Greig and Michael Christian have issued a public apology and claim to only have had "light-hearted" intentions when they made a hoax telephone call to a hospital where the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge was being treated for extreme morning sickness. The radio personalities impersonated Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles, and were even able to obtain private medical information from nurse Jacintha Saldanha. However, the joke went too far.
Last week, news of Saldanha being found dead at her home sparked massive outrage, with many blaming the DJs for the tragedy.
