Did Vlogger Couple Admit to Faking Pregnancy?
Vlogging couple Sam and Nia Rader have addressed the backlash of their recent videos and accusations of faking Nia's pregnancy by saying the whole thing was staged... by God.
First gaining wide attention a few weeks ago with Sam surprising Nia with the news of her pregnancy, the couple followed it up a couple days later with the announcement that Nia had miscarried the child. Since then the validity of the couple's pregnancy claims have been under scuitiny, with people calling Sam's former employer to verify his claim that he recently quit to vlog full-time, and calling doctors to see if Sam's method of pregnancy testing, using unflushed pee left in the toilet, was a valid means of testing.
Taking the "haters" drinking "haterade" in stride, the devout Sam and Nia regularly quote scripture in response to the hoax accusations,
Okay guys, I’ve got to read you one more verse, and then I’ll be done preaching. So this is 2 Timothy 3:12: “Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil people and impostors will go on from the bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.”
So the world is choosing to be deceived, and there’s nothing we can do about it. That’s why I’m not trying to defend myself to anybody. Anybody who asks me, “Was it fake?” — I don’t even feel like responding to it, but no, it wasn’t fake. That’s pretty much all I’ll say.
Or like one interviewer asked me, “Was it all staged?”— A lot of people think it was staged. I’m like, you know what? It was staged. It was all orchestrated by God above and nothing less. I’ll say stuff like that just to kind of throw them off, but it doesn’t make me happy that people are deceived, but it does make me happy that god chose our family out of the world.
Sam's quotes are leading to a lot of confusion and more speculation. Saying it was staged, but staged by God. Its been confirmed that Sam's method of pregnancy testing is not advisable for a reliable result, and there's questions to the validity of Sam's employment claims. Do you think Sam and Nia faked the whole thing for more hits on their YouTube channel?
