Dallas Mavericks to Receive Championship Rings Tonight

Tonight will be a special night for the Dallas Mavericks, who will receive their 2010-11 championship rings at the American Airlines Center.

The celebration could have been held on opening day of the season along with the raising of the championship banner, but this celebration was planned since J.J. Barea, a key reserve on the championship squad, will be returning to Dallas for the first time since signing a four-year contract with Minnesota.

The game against the Timberwolves and ceremony can be see on Fox Sports Southwest at 7 p.m. tonight.
