Gas Pump Technician Discovers 3 Hidden Card Skimmers at Conoco

Yikes!

Three credit card skimmers were recently discovered at a gas pump in Athens. The scary part is that they were undetectable, so how in the world were they discovered in the first place?

As KLTV reports, one of the pump maintenance technicians noticed the skimmers a couple of days ago (January 28th).

The Athens Police Department is sounding the alarm that if you believe you've been a victim of one of these unnoticeable Conoco gas station skimmers, contact Police Corporal Bonnette at the Athens Criminal Investigation Division at (903) 675-5454.

The best way to protect yourself from these hidden skimmers is to frequently check your bank statements for any fraudulent charges and alert the authorities as soon as possible if you find anything wild.
