A milestone event is happening this Thursday and Friday on Mix 93-1:

The 25th annual Mix With Kids Children's Miracle Network Radiothon

This Thursday and Friday, August 10th and 11th, Mix 93-1's Lucky Larry and Mandee Montana will be hosting this special event as we continue to support the pediatric services at CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital.

Thanks to generous East Texans, miracles have been happening right here in our own backyard. Whether that backyard is in Tyler, Henderson, Lindale, Athens, Quitman, Sulphur Springs, Jacksonville, or anywhere else in East Texas, miracles are happening for and to East Texas children because of you and your support.

Together, we all can change lives and help improve the lives of East Texas children through Children's Miracle Network.

Throughout the two-day radiothon, Mix 93-1's Lucky Larry and Mandee Montana will continue giving you the hit music that you know and love, but we'll also be interjecting some incredible stories from extremely brave East Texas children who are battling through some pretty challenging obstacles in their lives.

Thanks to your prior support of the Mix With Kids Children's Miracle Network Radiothon, you have helped to provide funding for some highly advanced and technologically advanced equipment for these children. During this year's radiothon, we'll also introduce you to some special children who have overcome some terrifying odds and are now thriving while, unfortunately, updating you on some who might have lost their battle with their terminal condition. Thanks to your support though, you helped to improve their quality of life as they fought a valiant fight.

The annual Mix With Kids Children's Miracle Network radiothon kicks off each day at 6 a.m. during The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show and will continue through 6 p.m. both days. During this time we will be asking you to call in and make that one-time donation or monthly donation so that premiere medical care can continue to be given to our children in the hospital. Your child might someday be the recipient of something that Children's Miracle Network provided.

EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR DONATED remains here in East Texas.

The unique thing about Children's Miracle Network is that all donations will stay here in East Texas and not go towards any administrative costs, donated funds will be used to purchase equipment to help East Texas children. That equipment could be used in the following areas of the hospital, clinics, or ambulances:

• neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)
• pediatric clinic
• emergency room
• special needs clinic
• ambulance services
• Flight For Life transportation
• medical clinics throughout East Texas

Throughout the radiothon, we will introduce you to some special miracle children and their families as they share their stories on how Children's Miracle Network has affected the life of their child and their family thanks to generous East Texas donors throughout the years. Mix 93-1 is looking forward to hosting another extremely successful Mix With Kids Children's Miracle Network radiothon Thursday and Friday, August 10th and 11th.
