City of Tyler to Close Downtown Streets for Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival
The 2019 Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival will be on the square this Saturday.
The downtown square will be blocked off to traffic beginning Friday morning at 5 a.m. and throughout the day on Saturday.
Below is a map of the street closures.
The sold-out event will feature more than 20 of the best BBQ joints in Texas and nearly 12 hours of music on two stages, with the main stage highlighting the biggest names in Texas and Red Dirt Music.
The music lineup includes the Randy Rogers Band, Wade Bowen, Stoney LaRue, American Aquarium, and Mike and the Moonpies.
Commuters will still be able to access the downtown businesses and courthouse as traffic will be diverted around the east side of the courthouse from North and South Broadway. Broadway will reopen to traffic before 6 a.m. Sunday morning.
