Chihuahua Runs Off Robbers

My friend Carleen shared this with me today and I just had to share.  It's video from a tobacco shop somewhere near Los Angeles.  So you're thinking "ok, what's the big deal about an armed robbery in Los Angeles?"  This one is a little different, and by little, I mean a chihuahua.  Check out the funny video after the jump.

According to the LA Times, the robbery took place on July 7th at Ace Smoke Shop in Altadena, California.

The store owner quickly begins placing money in a robber’s backpack. As he does, his Chihuahua erupts into ferocious barking at the two men, who beat a hasty retreat, running out of the store with the backpack but taking less money than they could've gotten.

At one point, one of the robbers even points his rifle at the diminutive but undaunted pooch, who chases the pair out of the store and down the street.

The good news from the story is that no one was hurt in the robbery.  The bad part for the robbers is the fact that they can't even brag to their homeboys about it.  You know the local TV stations have this video plastered on-air and on-line, so all their friends can see it.  Needless to say, I think these guys lost a little street credibility with this one.  Enjoy!
