BREAKING: Shooting Reported At Protest Rally In Dallas

Reports are coming in regarding a shooting that occurred at a rally in downtown Dallas this evening. Details are still loose at the moment, but initial reports indicate that an armed man carrying a long gun opened fire at the rally and hit two officers, one with the Dallas Police Department and one with Dallas Area Rapid Transit. There is no information regarding their status at present or if there were any others injured or killed.

The rally was one of several that sprang up in the wake of the police officer-involved shooting deaths of Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge, LA and Philando Castile in Minneapolis, MN.
