Anthrax Rock AC/DC’s ‘T.N.T.’ With Special Guest Slash in Los Angeles
Who doesn't love a good fist-pumping metal anthem? Anthrax have been enjoying rocking out to AC/DC's 'T.N.T.' while on tour, promoting their recently released version from the new 'Anthems' covers EP. But Wednesday (March 27) in Los Angeles, the veteran metallers offered a warm welcome to special guest Slash for their performance.
Slash brought his guitar along to the House of Blues in West Hollywood to meet up with Anthrax and ended up joining the band onstage for 'T.N.T.' Fan shot footage from Slash's guest spot has turned up online and can be seen below.
The night was also special as a number of musicians turned out to catch the show. Slayer's Kerry King, The Cult's John Tempesta, Tool's Justin Chancellor, Dethklok's Brendon Small and actor/musician Brian Posehn were on hand. Plus, Public Enemy's Chuck D. joined the band onstage to reprise their collaboration on 'Bring the Noise.'
Anthrax are currently touring as part of the 2013 'Metal Alliance' trek. The remaining dates on the run can be seen here. Slash, meanwhile, has been demoing new material for his next solo record with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators.
