Altra Federal Credit Union is eagerly looking for experienced individuals looking to invest in their community and join their new office location in Lindale. The newly-constructed office is looking to fill positions for an office manager, mortgage loan originator, solutions specialists and member relations specialists by August.

Office managers lead the operations of the office and manage the staff who works there; provide support with questions, issues or staffing needs that may arise. They assist in the development of annual budgets/goals for the office, update/track the progress throughout the year. Office managers will coordinate with local service providers for any maintenance or repair activities that may be needed on equipment or space. Lastly, office managers will need to lead the relationship-building and sales functions of the office, setting the example and tone for the Altra Brand.

Mortgage loan originators concentrate on cultivating relationships with local realtors and builders, networking with local businesses and actively promoting Altra through participation in community events and seminars. Mortgage loan originators embrace industry trends and new technology, streamlining origination processes to continuously improve the member experience.

Solutions specialists assist and show members how to use Altra’s assisted self-service technology in the branch and perform member service and consumer lending functions, including opening, and closing of credit union accounts, processing account changes, completing share certificates and work with IRA and Trust accounts as well as process loan applications via phone, fax, internet, and in-person. Solutions specialists will present loan products to members and provide loan recommendations, perform savings bond redemptions, gift card sales, notary services, cashier’s checks, print debit cards and handle member transactions.

Member relations specialists are the “faces” of Altra and fully represent Altra’s brand to help members live their best lives! They welcome the members into the offices, monitoring and facilitating all lobby traffic by asking questions to determine the nature of the member’s visit to the office, assisting with all types of member service transactions, teller transactions, savings bond redemptions, account research, gift card sales, notary services, cashier’s checks and so much more!

Relationship managers, Business banking are the primary advisors for business clients and responsible for building, developing, and managing new and existing relationships with business clients and delivering financial expertise and client-centric solutions that build strong, long-term relationships. They take a proactive and engaged approach to building and developing relationships with business clients. Through these partnerships, they anticipate and make appropriate recommendations to help business leaders live their best lives and achieve their business goals! Relationship managers take the lead on reviewing loan and deposit requests, proposing credit solutions and navigating through their innovative loan approval process. Capitalizing on their business acumen and financial aptitude, relationship managers will educate our members and make relevant and advantageous referrals to Altra’s full array of business financial services.
