Taco Tuesday will never be the same for me after learning the shocking news that Tyler Food Truck Curbside Taco will be shutting down for good after 6 years.

After posting on their Facebook page yesterday (April 21) Owner Chester Kruse gave his loyal patrons the disappointing news that the popular food truck known for their AMAZING tacos are shutting down.

Hello Curbside fans, it is with a heavy heart that I am announcing today, Curbside Taco will be closing its business permanently.

Loyal customers were heartbroken by the news and expressed their moments where they experienced their food.

One customer in Lindale said getting their tacos on Tuesday's was a tradition and said thanks for making the best street tacos, while another customer shared a photo of the food truck at her wedding.

KLTV has reported that Kruse said that sales have been down slowly last year and due to the COVID-19, the writing was on the wall.

Personally, I am crushed that Curbside Taco is shutting down. I have had the pleasure of having their tacos for the past three years and they never disappointed.

Hopefully, they will make a return at a later date, but for now thank you Curbside Taco for great tacos and memories.
