It may have been the movie that jump started Matthew McConaughey's career after meeting director Richard Linklater at a hotel bar in Austin. He ended up in the first 'Dazed and Confused' movie, but will he be in the sequel?

Richard Linklater confirms that another 'Dazed and Confused' movie is in the works, but instead of springing from the last day of school in 1976, this one will be set during college life in 1980.

He calls it a "spiritual sequel," and it's going to be called 'Everybody Wants Some.' The movie follows a group of friends as they navigate their way through the freedoms and responsibilities of unsupervised adulthood, according to Linklater.

All right, all right, all right.

But I don't see Matthew McConaughey on the list. The cast includes Tyler Hoechlin (Road to Perdition, 7th Heaven), Wyatt Russell (22 Jump Street), Ryan Guzman (Step Up), Will Brittain (The Doo Dah Man), Glen Powell (Sex Ed), and Zoey Deutch (Ringer, Vampire Academy).

The music may be the highlight of the new movie. It gets its name from a Van Halen song, and Talking Heads, Devo, and Blondie will be on the soundtrack. The movie and the soundtrack are both coming out this fall.

And much of it is being filmed in Texas! The actors and crews have been on campus filming at Texas State University in San Marcos.
