Ex-Black Flag and Rollins Band frontman Henry Rollins has recruited Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor, Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian, Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo, Jane’s Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro and members of Rob Zombie‘s band, including guitarist John 5, for a benefit concert Nov. 30 at the Avalon Theater in Hollywood, Calif.

Slipknot fans received a bit of good news over the summer when percussionist Shawn “Clown” Crahan announced that the band was planning an American tour for 2012. Now, Crahan says Slipknot is in the planning stages for the follow-up to 2008′s ‘All Hope Is Gone’ album, although it might be awhile before anyone gets to hear it.

Faithful maggots who have been pining away for new Slipknot since the release of ‘All Hope Is Gone’ way back in 2008 are going to have to keep waiting for awhile, because the band has no plans to record. But fans in the US can take heart knowing that there’s an American tour on the horizon for next year, according to drummer Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan.
