Well, it's now official, Guns N' Roses have officially announced a US tour! It will be their first in five years. The tour will kick off on October 28th in Orlando, Florida and will make stops in 30 US cities. The band will make a stop in Dallas on November 5th at the Gexa Energy Pavillion.More after the jump.
Seventeen years ago today, Nirvana lead singer Kurt Cobain took his own life. There have been reports that Duff McKagan was one of the last people to see the rocker when they happened to be on the same flight to Seattle together. Guns N' Roses are scheduled to play this year's Rock in Rio festival in Brazil on October 2nd. Most GN'R fans know that the band isn't usually on time, but the event organizers remember the 2001 festival where the band was nearly 2 hours late. When the producers of this year’s Rock in Rio festival booked the band, they made the group agree to pay a fine if the band shows up later than scheduled. There is no word on what it will cost Axl Rose and company if they are late.
So Rolling Stone recently polled their readers and asked them what they thought was the best album of the ‘80s. U2’s The Joshua Tree scored the most votes, edging out Guns N’ Roses’ Appetite for Destruction and Michael Jackson’s Thriller.
