Here's something to think about with Valentine's day coming up next month.  Now I am not advocating this at all, because it's downright cold-blooded, but it's good to hear it ends with a happy ending...sort of.

Marcin Kasprzak, 26, decided he was bored with his wife, so he got his friend, Patryk Borys, 18, to help taser his fiance, put her in a computer box, and bury her under 6 inches of dirt and an 88-pound tree branch.

Now if you ever wanted to know the definition of irony, here's a great example.  His fiance, Michelina Lewandowska, clawed her way out of her intended grave, using the diamond on her engagement ring to dig her way out of the box.

Obviously, this led to Kasprzak's apprehension.  He was sentenced today to 20 years in prison for the attempted murder.

"It was your intention that she would not be found.  It was your intention that she die there," Collier said during the sentencing. "The death you intended would have been long and slow.  It is mind-numbingly awful to imagine the sort of death you intended her to die.", said Judge Peter Collier.

During the trial, Lewandowska  told the court she prayed, thought of her 3-year-old son, then gathered the strength to cut her way out of the box using her diamond engagement ring.
