Home Plate Celebration Costs Team State Title [VIDEO]

I saw this story on Yahoo.com this morning.  Proof that it is truly not over until the fat lady sings.  Watch the video and notice that the winning run in the Class LL high school baseball playoffs in Connecticut never touched the plate. The catcher stayed calm and simply stood on home plate and looked over at the home plate umpire as the umpire called the runner out.  Check out the video after the jump.
