Here's a brand-new lyric video for Creedence Clearwater Revival's 'Green River,' as Ultimate Classic Rock and Concord Music Group celebrate one of the most worthy catalogs in history.

Serving as the title track for CCR's third album, 1969's 'Green River' simply couldn't sound more like a sleepy Louisiana afternoon -- though composer John Fogerty has said he was actually thinking of a favorite West Coast vacation spot, Putah Creek in Winters, California. This cool-rocking new clip, meanwhile, is tailor-made for summer, with plenty of rock-skipping, bass boat-riding, dock-dancing scenes.

The 'Green River' album was actually Creedence Clearwater Revival's second of 1969, following 'Bayou Country.' And they weren't done: 'Willy and the Poor Boys' followed later in '69. Along the way, CCR also released a stunning eight companion singles in that one year. 'Green River' rose all the way to No. 2, along with 'Proud Mary' and 'Bad Moon Rising.'

Fogerty is recognizing this amazing run with a series of shows focusing on CCR's 1969 output. He'll stop in Cincinnati on July 25, followed by dates in Detroit, Chicago and across Canada through November.
