Firefighters Use Mouth-To-Nose Respiration To Save Dog’s Life In Gut-Wrenching Photos

What’s better than a firefighter? Two animal-loving firefighter with huge hearts.

On Tuesday in Wausau, Wisconsin, firefighters Jamie Giese and Jared Thompson were responding to a residential blaze when they found the homeowner’s seven-year-old yellow Labrador, Coda, trapped inside. Once they got him out, they performed mouth-to-nose respiration and gave him oxygen — despite having no formal training in animal rescue.

President Obama Announces US Troops Will Be Out of Iraq by Year’s End [VIDEO]

In a White House briefing held Friday, President Obama announced the remaining American troops in Iraq will be home by the end of the year, closing a war effort there that has killed more than 4,400 US servicepeople and wounded 32,000 more since 2003.

“After nine years, America’s war in Iraq will be over,” the president said.

The Florida woman added a cell phone to her account for her mute and hearing-impaired brother, who didn’t know to turn off his data roaming when he was recently in Canada. Since his only form of communication with the phone is via text messages, those international data rates added up quickly — to the tune of over $200,000 in one month.
