The Retail Industry Leaders Association, who represents companies like Walmart, Best Buy, Target and others, sent a letter to the National Governors' Association saying having different rules are confusing the consumer and also causing conflict between workers who are trying to enforce rules for wearing them.

RILA President Brian Dodge said in a statement,

Retailers are alarmed with the instances of hostility and violence front-line employees are experiencing by a vocal minority of customers.

With Governor Abbott already placing a statewide requirement to wear face masks, it's only a matter time if other states who are at high risk of COVID-19 to jump on board.

What do you think of this retail group and others asking the nation's governor to mandate that shoppers wear face masks because of the differing rules causing confusion and conflict?
