The Weather Channel gave it the name winter storm 'Uri' and we didn't know what an 'Uri' could do to us, but we found out though.

That week of snow and zero degree temperatures in February was an awful time for East Texas. It's possible we could see it again but scaled down a bit.

Some trees around East Texas are still struggling to come back after being in the deep freeze in February, but there's reason to be hopeful that they'll make a full recovery.

CenterPoint Energy is asking its customers to conserve energy due to high heating demand.
