Here we go again, but then again it is spring time in East Texas. This is the time of the year when we expect storm systems to move through every three or four days, and so far this season, that trend has held up.
Sunday evening, a storm system produced a tornado that devastated a stretch of north Dallas leaving in its wake numerous damaged buildings, tens of thousands without power, and hundreds of thousands of people shaken.
On August 28, 1844, Photographer F.N. Robinson captured a photo of a tornado near Howard, South Dakota. This photo was for a very long time believed to be the first-ever of a tornado. But it turns out that may not be the case.
