Though the doors have been closed to students for a while, the City spends quite a bit to manage the upkeep--property tax, landscaping, utilities, etc.

Even though they didn't interact or touch HER child, she was concerned and wished she'd gotten ahold of one of their pamphlets to see where they were from.

Changing the names doesn't change the history. But--it sets a precedent for a more compassionate, empowering future for ALL of our kids.
