In the 10 days or so since the announcement of Three Days Grace's split with frontman Adam Gontier, more and more details have surfaced about their parting of the ways. Gontier is the latest to unveil more about his exit from the band, stating that it was more of creative decision, but also reiterating that he does have health issues.

The rock world was definitely in shock earlier today (Jan. 9), learning that not only was Adam Gontier exiting his post as singer of Three Days Grace, but that the band had already selected My Darkest Days frontman Matt Walst to replace him on their upcoming tour.

Shocker alert! Frontman Adam Gontier has resigned from Three Days Grace just weeks prior to their upcoming co-headlining tour with Shinedown. The band has replaced Gontier with My Darkest Days singer Matt Walst for the trek.

Just a few weeks ago, Shinedown and Three Days Grace announced the first leg of a co-headlining U.S. tour that kicks off in February 2013. Now, the two bands have added a second leg of dates to the trek.
