CBS Sports is reporting today that sources have told Randy Galloway of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that Rangers CEO Nolan Ryan could soon leave the organization. The Rangers announced over the weekend that they have restructured the front office, moving Jon Daniels to president of baseball operations/GM and Rick George to president of business operations.
A new 'Texas Legend' has been added to the line-up at the Texas Rangers games in Arlington! Each home game in the middle of the sixth inning you can see either the traditional dot race or the 'Texas Legends' race. The Texas Legends began alternating games with the dots last season. Texas Rangers CEO and President Nolan Ryan was hospitalized in Houston after experiencing discomfort early Sunday morning at his home in Georgetown, Texas. Mr. Ryan will undergo tests on Monday for what is believed to be a recurrence of the heart condition which he has previously experienced. More after the jump.
