‘S.O.S. (Save Our Studio) A Benefit Album’ is a new 49-track disc pulled together to support the revitalization of The Compound Studio, a studio frequented by a bevy of musicians in Southern California including Pearl Jam’s own Mike McCready.

It's hard to believe that Pearl Jam's Ten album is celebrating it's 20 year anniversary this year.  The band is celebrating the anniversary by releasing a documentary and accompanying book and soundtrack this year.  The documentary will be directed by Cameron Crowe! More after the jump.
