Doron Lamb scored 22 points, and Kentucky held off a spirited Kansas rally to beat the Jayhawks 67-59 in the NCAA title game in New Orleans on Monday night. The win gave the Wildcats (38-2) their eighth national championship in school history and first since 1998.

The 2012 Final Four includes four NCAA basketball programs that have each won at least one national championship in its history. In total, Kentucky, Louisville, Ohio State, Kansas have 49 Final Four appearances and 13 NCAA basketball titles between them.

So, the four-day marathon known as the opening weekend of the NCAA tournament is now in our rearview mirror. If your bracket busted like a cheap watch, you may not care too much about the rest of March Madness, so here are some ways to pass the time until a national championship is crowned:

March Madness is right around corner, and once again this year almost 70 teams will be competing for  a spot in the Final Four, and hopefully an NCAA championship.  Now we didn't have almost 70 bands submit us their music, but with such an overwhelming response to our call for local bands, we decided to do our own brackets for The East Texas Takeover.
