The Monster Energy Welcome to Rockville festival returns to Jacksonville, Fla., for its third year with a hard-rocking lineup headlined by Alice in Chains and hometown heroes Limp Bizkit. The festival has expanded to two days -- April 27 and 28 at Jacksonville's Metropolitan Park along the St. Johns River.
Limp Bizkit are back with a new song, 'Lightz (City of Angels),' which surfaced online over the weekend. A music video for the song had appeared on YouTube but was since taken down. However, you can still listen to the tune below.
After recent comments from Limp Bizkit singer Fred Durst about the band’s current status in the U.S., the idea of a tour seemed like a fleeting one. Durst referred to his band as “a moment in time” saying it was “over” but a new tweet from the frontman seems to suggest something different.
Limp Bizkit have done plenty of touring in recent years, but it’s been noticeable that the group haven’t played very much in the United States. Singer Fred Durst tells Kerrang! that a good reason for that was the band realizing that American audiences had moved on.
It was only about two weeks ago that Limp Bizkit announced that they would be signing with Lil Wayne's record label, Cash Money Records, and not it looks like they'll soon be releasing their first single “Ready to Go,” which features a collaboration with label partner Lil Wayne.
