Winter has definitely made its presence known here in East Texas thanks to yesterday's wintry mix of sleet, freezing rain and some light snow. The mess that fell from the skies yesterday caused a ton of delays and cancellations for schools to businesses. Now comes word that more winter weather is in the forecast for East Texas with a posted Winter Storm Warning.
If you don't need to get out today, stay home. It's your best option today, unless you want to take a chance and possibly have to end up calling your insurance agent! East Texas roads are still treacherous.
Surely spring is not far off.
Today is a good day to stay inside and watch the Olympics. And if you're outside, your shoes just might turn into skis on the pavement. Watch out for slick spots.
