This Texas Zoo Is One Of The Best Zoos In The Country!

Alright El Paso, it looks like we’ll have to take a backseat when it comes to being on the list of the best Zoos in the U.S. but we can be happy to know that one Texas Zoo was able to make it to the top 3!

The San Antonio Zoo just scored a major win as it was just recently ranked as the third best zoo in the U.S. by Newsweek!

Newsweek dropped its highly anticipated ranking last month

The San Antonio Zoo secured its top spot based on votes from readers, panelists, and contributors. Tim Morrow, the zoo’s president & CEO, couldn’t be prouder, saying,

“I am incredibly grateful for the unwavering dedication of our Zoo Crew, whose exceptional care for animals and our community embodies the heart and soul of San Antonio Zoo.”

This isn’t the San Antonio Zoo’s first rodeo

The San Antonio Zoo has snagged the title of Best Zoo in Texas five times in the last six years from the Texas Travel Awards. (Showoffs!)
